![]() Joseph Esteves returned to Trumbull Percussion in 2014 for his second year as Visual Caption Supervisor. He started in 2013 with Trumbull Percussion with their production of “The Traveler”. Originally form Danbury, CT. he currently lives in Port Chester, NY with his partner Raymond Rhodes and their daughter Samantha Rhodes. He works in Fairfield, CT. as the General Manager for Food and Hospitality Services for Sodexo at General Electric World Headquarters. Joseph began his career in the Marching Arts while attending Danbury High School where he was a percussionist for his freshman year. For the next three year of High School he was a part of the Color Guard, where he was taught by some of the best instructors in the color guard activity to date. The summer before his senior year, Joseph decided to try out for the then ”Cadets of Bergen County” drum and bugle corps from Bergenfield, NJ. Joseph was delighted to receive a spot with the color guard for their 1998 production of Stonehenge, where they won the DCI World Championship title. He has had the honor to teach at Brookfield High School Color Guard (2001 – 2004), Shelton High School Color Guard (2004-2010) and Trumbull High School Winter “A” Guard (2010-2012). During the fall season Joseph works on the Visual Team with the Trumbull High School Marching Band, the 2014 season will be his second year teaching there. |
