Trumbull Winter Percussion is pleased to announce the

2012 premier of the Trumbull Winter A-Line Ensemble!

Trumbull Percussion will present both the traditional Open level ensemble as well as the new A Line program.

Both ensembles will participate in the Musical Arts Conference, and WGI.

Trumbull Percussion consists of those students who perform percussion instruments for the nationally recognized Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band as well as perform as the Trumbull Percussion Ensemble in a winter/spring activity known as "Winter Percussion." It competes in the Musical Arts Conference (MAC) locally and Winter Guard International (WGI) internationally.

What is Winter Percussion?
It’s the thunder of drums, melodic lines of the keyboards, incredible movement and design, costumes and sets. It has become one of the most popular drumming activities in the world today! Along with Winter Guard, it is known as the “Sport of the Arts.”

During the winter months the ensemble, supplemented with fall brass and wind students performing on percussion instruments, competes as a separate unit in indoor arenas and gymnasiums.

Rehearsal Cancelled 1/21

Due to the impending snow storm, rehearsal for both A-Line and Open Line are cancelled for Saturday 1/21.

We'll see everyone on tuesday night at 6:00.

Rehearsal Cancelled for 1/21/12

Due to the impending storm, rehearsal for both A-Line and Open on saturday 1/21 is cancelled.

We will resume on Tuesday evening, at 6:00 pm.
